Which hypertensive patients need to use aspirin

2010 Chinese hypertension prevention guide points out that, as the two levels of prevention, the patients should be: (1 ) the use of aspirin in hypertensive patients with stable coronary heart disease, myocardial infarction, ischemic stroke or TIA history and peripheral atherosclerotic disease patients, requiring application of low-dose aspirin ( 100 mg/d ). Not all blood pressure patients to take aspirin. For low-risk patients taking aspirin, the benefits of which bear little bleeding risk, and high risk patients can obtain larger net benefit.

In addition, not all blood pressure patients can safely use aspirin. The combined activity of gastric ulcer, severe liver disease, hemorrhagic disease should be used carefully.
